A number of tornadoes recently hit the South Eastern part of Kentucky, leaving most homes destroyed and people without water or electricity. Earthships can provide emergency shelter and first response aid due to the fact that they are autonomous and provide water and electricity independently from the grid.
We have started working with local contacts to build a shelter and demonstration Earthship in the near future. We are currently fundraising to make this a reality.
